Passport Information

As of June 1, 2009, under the U.S. Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), Canadian citizens will be required to present one of the following valid documents when entering the United States by car or boat:

• A passport (recommended);
• A NEXUS card;
• A Free and Secure Trade (FAST) card; OR
• An enhanced dirvers license/enhanced identification card (in provinces or territories where they are available)
